The only predictable thing about Pacific Northwest weather is that it’s…. unpredictable. As the raindrops began to fall on us while we took some pre-ceremony pictures of the bride and groom, Heather calmly said “guess we’ll have the ceremony inside.” I was amazed at how calm she was, as most brides (understandably so) would be a little upset. Heather had a sense of calmness that most brides and grooms don’t get until the wedding is over, and it was absolutely contagious. Oh and about that Pacific Northwest weather being unpredictable…read on to see how it turned out.

About 10 minutes before the ceremony was going to start, the rain subsided and the sun came out! Plans quickly changed and outside we went. Check out the beautiful blue skies! The sky cleared up and the weather was beautiful for the ceremony. It didn’t stay that way for the rest of the day but it was like the weather knew not to rain for those 15 minutes!

Heather and Chris had so many fun details for their day. That C+H that you see below? Chris made those himself! He even made two sets, one for each side of the room. They brought all sorts of games for their guests and kept everyone entertained. And instead of a traditional meal, they had Veraci Pizza who came and made the pizzas onsite and even brought their woodfired oven! Veraci even made dessert pizzas. Yum!
